Fighting Fire With Action

This year, California experienced the worst year on record for wildfires. And unfortunately, our neighbors and fellow vintners to the north in Napa, Sonoma, and Mendocino counties suffered some of the worst devastation in the state’s history.

We knew we had to do something. JUSTIN joined forces with other members of Paso Robles Wine Country to form the California Wine Strong movement, to provide much- needed donations to the relief efforts. Throughout the month of October, JUSTIN donated $1.00 from every bottle sold in the Tasting Room and, along with other Paso wineries and local businesses, collected over $100,000 to help support short- and long-term relief efforts.

But our commitment to the wildfire relief didn’t stop there. The JUSTIN team also saw an opportunity to provide additional support to two nonprofits in Sonoma County who serve high-needs populations that were severely impacted by the fires. JUSTIN employees, families and friends collected food, clothing, and other essential items and drove to Sonoma to hand-deliver the donations.

And while the fires have long been extinguished, our commitment to the community will forever burn bright. While our attention remains committed to nurturing our local roots, our wider community is never far out of reach.
