It's the best time of the year - time for our ISOSCELES Pre-Release Party. We invited our Wine Society members to be the first ones to try the 2013 vintage. We kicked off the event on Friday evening with a multiple coursed dinner created by Chef Will Torres. Each decadent course was expertly paired with our wines. The elegant evening was a highlight of the weekend.

On Saturday, we opened up the caves and let the fun begin. We were pouring 2014 Viognier, 2013 JUSTIFICATION, OBTUSE, and, of course, the 2013 ISOSCELES. We partnered up with Trumpet, a local caterer, for some delicious bites paired with our wines - like truffled mushroom flatbread with Pt Reyes Toma cheese and pomegranate molasses glazed lamb with Humboldt Fog cheese, grilled rusk and pomegranate gastrique.

Winery Sommelier Jim Gerakaris led an informative seminar in the Wine Society Lounge. He explored the fascinating history of the grape varieties we use in our wines. He also explained why some wines are bottled with screw caps and others in cork and the effect each closure has on the wine over time. Members tasted our Viognier, Reserve Malbec, Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, Trilateral, and two library vintages of ISOSCELES during the seminar.
